This week, a door opening was saw cut into the existing foundation wall. A new slab was poured in level with the existing basement floor, and sill plates were installed. The photo shows double 2x6 plates, the first one is pressure treated, over the sill sealer, over the metal termite shield. The framing is going to start next week.
